The Anthem Team

Jon M. Morgan:

Mr. Morgan is the President of Anthem Oil and Gas, Inc., an oil and gas investment company based in Midland, Texas. He is also the President of AOG Mineral Partners, Ltd. He graduated from the University of Texas with a Petroleum Land Management degree in 1981 and worked for Texaco, Inc. through 1983. Mr. Morgan has actively purchased minerals and royalties for over 25 years. He has principally founded and been actively involved in over a dozen companies involved in real estate, oil and gas, minor league sports, geophysical services, financial services, data management, power procurement and the internet. He presently serves on several corporate and non-profit boards.
John R. Norwood:

Mr. Norwood is Co-Founder and Vice President of Anthem Oil and Gas, Inc., and has actively participated in drilling for oil and gas and the acquisition of large oil and gas working interests since the early 90’s. He is also Vice President of AOG Mineral Partners, Ltd., and President of Ashlin Minerals, Ltd. He also serves as Vice President of TCTB Company, a commercial real estate venture whose assets include nearly 1,000,000 square feet of class “A” office space. He is also Manager and Co-Founder of Priority Power Mgt., a leading Texas power procurement firm. Mr. Norwood graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and serves on several local boards and committees.
Daniel T. George:

Mr. George is Anthem’s Chief Geologist. He received a B.S. in Geology from Youngstown State University in 1975 and a M.S. in Geology from Bowling Green State University in 1978. From September 1978 through March 2002, he was an exploration and development geologist with Texaco and ChevronTexaco in the Midland, Texas office. He has conducted geologic evaluations in all provinces in the Permian Basin and was designated Trend Geoscientist and a technical resource within the Texaco geoscience community. Additionally, he held various positions with Texaco including Interim Asset Team Manager, Project Team Leader, Division Risk Analysis Coordinator, and served on numerous technical committees.
Eric D. Boyt:

Mr. Boyt is the Minerals and Royalties Acquisitions Manager for Anthem, and a partner with AOG Mineral Partners, Ltd. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX with a degree in accounting in 1992. After obtaining his CPA, he spent four years as a public auditor where he focused on audits of the petroleum industry. He then worked two years with an independent exploration and production company where he managed several oil and gas partnerships. He joined Anthem in April of 2002 after working for an energy company for four years, two with the international division and the last two years with the North America business unit.
Trey Walker:

Mr. Walker manages minerals and royalties for Anthem, serves as a partner with AOG Mineral Partners, Ltd., and is GP of III Minerals & Land, Ltd. A member of a third-generation ranching family from Eldorado, Texas, he graduated from Texas Tech University in 1992. He spent ten years in the West Texas marketing industry. He joined Anthem in April of 2004, specializing in royalties and marketing. Mr. Walker has served on several local non-profit committees and boards, including United Way, Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center, Keep Midland Beautiful, and the Boys and Girls Club of Midland. Trey is currently a member of the Permian Basin Landmen’s Association and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
Bryce Riggs:

Mr. Riggs joined Anthem in 2007, working on Permian Basin acquisitions. He now specializes in mineral and royalty acquisitions in the Ft. Worth Basin, primarily in the Barnett Shale. Mr. Riggs is from Odessa, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005.
Ryan Senior:

Mr. Senior joined Anthem in 2007 and specializes in mineral and royalty acquisitions in East Texas and also South Texas, primarily in the Eagle Ford Shale. Mr. Senior is from Sulphur Springs, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in 2006.
Eric Freytag:

Mr. Freytag joined Anthem in 2008 and specializes in mineral and royalty acquisitions in East Texas and the Eastern Shelf. Mr. Freytag is from Dallas, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in 2007.
Wade Koehl:

Mr. Koehl joined Anthem in 2009 and specializes in mineral and royalty acquisitions in West Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Koehl is from Midland, Texas and has his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston in 2006, and his Masters in 2009.
Kim Evans:

Mrs. Evans joined Anthem in 2008 and serves as Division Orders Manager. Mrs. Evans is from Wickes, Arkansas. Mrs. Evans served as an office administrator with W Power for three years prior to her tenure at Anthem.
Tanner Hayes:

Mr. Hayes joined Anthem in 2009 and serves as a mineral and royalty analyst. Mr. Hayes is from Midland, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas Permian Basin in 2006.
Matt Schrank:

Mr. Schrank joined Anthem in 2005 and serves as a mineral and royalty analyst. Mr. Schrank is from Midland, Texas and is attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
